Can Hector (Troy/Iliad) be held responsible for his own death?

i dont believe so.zeus debates whether to save hektor for the moment or let him be killed,as he did with patroklos.zeus opens his golden scales and hektors pan sinks into hades.athene then fools hektor into fighting, by pretending to be deiphobos,hektors brother, coming to help him.when hektor realises the gods want his death, he charges at achilleus and gets a spear in the throat.
