Guinea pigs HELP!!!!!?

I am getting a guinea pig, but this is my first time owning one. I bought a guinea pig starter kit, but the bedding looks really bad, and so does the food. I would also like to know what beds/hideouts you would recommend. its a big wide open cage so ive got plenty of room to put stuff. I have included a link to let you know what kit I bought and it would be great if you could tell me the quality. I would also like to know if guinea pigs need hay, and if they do it would be great if you could tell me what kind to get.
