Drawing help needed! How can you add tiny sparkles to a sketch?

I'm drawing a picture of Matt Bellamy from the band Muse for my best friend and on his jacket there's loads of sparkles everywhere and I can't draw them in. I've tried rubbing out the dots but I can't and I can't find a white gel pen anywhere either please help!!
